“My soul follows close behind You…”

I am a pastor's wife, children's book author and illustrator, songwriter, and conversational, interactive speaker who uses Scripture, life illustrations, and visuals to encourage women. Those who come to hear me share,  will be inspired, gain hope, and leave ready and eager to pursue Jesus.

I have noticed that the Lord works in my life in themes.  As an artist, I have found visuals or word pictures to be important in helping me to understand something, and to remember it. What a powerful tool a good illustration can be! As a pastor’s wife since 1997, a Christian Children’s book author and illustrator, a mother of four (with one child on the autism spectrum), I have immersed myself in practical study of the Bible, so that I can stand on it, and then teach it. With creativity such as art and song, humor, and transparency, I love to share myself as a living illustration of unmerited favor and receiver of mercy and grace through Christ.

Speaking in Christian women’s gatherings in NY, PA, and NH, for many years, I enjoy learning what theme a lady’s group is focusing on for their event and prayerfully finding a biblical message and real examples from my own life that illustrate that theme. I have taught painting classes while giving a devotional at churches, conference centers and camps. I play guitar and am a singer/songwriter. Being an award-winning illustrator, it has been thrilling to have illustrated over 80 Christian Children’s books for authors all over the world.  My own books, “Little Lamb, Little Lamb Follow Close”, and “Lellie Not Perfect”, made me an author, and I look forward to writing more!
