ABOUT ME

I am a pastor's wife and the mom of four wonderful grown children. I have always loved drawing and painting, but my artistic journey truly took off in 2013 when I was told I was really "more of an illustrator than a fine artist."  That statement made me curios about becoming a children's book illustrator. I set to work to teach myself how to illustrate and format for publishing, and after several years of painting on paper, I taught myself how to work digitally. After 80 some books illustrated, I can surely say that I am thankful for the lady who had the nerve to tell me what I was!  If you would like to find out more about my process, get in touch.
